Wallace and Cal storm back late

Berkeley 12/13/14 -- The Princeton Tigers (3-8) pushed California Golden Bears to the limit until the last minute of the game when the Bears went on a 9-3 run to close out for a 67-57 win.  Pac-12 second leading scorer, Tyrone Wallace (19 ppg), willed Cal to a victory with a game-high 23 points and team-high 8 rebounds.

Kerr recognizes that he has inherited a playoff contender, so there are some core piece he won't mess with. However to be a championship contender, some tinkering must happen.

Oakland, Calif. 10/5/14 -- Klay Thompson made a huge impression this summer at the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain, as he helped Team USA win a gold medal. Thompson came of the bench, but was still the team's second leading scorer at 12.7 ppg., playing 23 minutes a game. His impact on an international level has catapulted his confidence as he starts his fourth NBA season for Golden State.

Berkeley 12/3/14 -- First year Montana Coach Travis DeGuire had his team revved up coming to Berkeley to face the Cal Golden Bears.  This is the first time Coach DeGuire entered Haas Pavilion as an opponent, after the last six years as the assistant coach at Cal under Mike Montgomery.  This was a perfect opportunity for DeGuire, who was overlooked as Montgomery's aire, to show Cal his value on the sideline.

New York 11/22/14 -- California Golden Bears came into Madison Square Garden with their new coach Cuonzo Martin to meet Jim Boeheim and the #23 Syracuse Orange in a 2K Classic semi final matchup.  The Bears carved up Syracuse zone defense penetrating and hitting threes for a 73-59 dominating win that brought attention.
